I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition's cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program. During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.
Why do you need me as Health Coach?
A health coach is a trained professional that works with you to show you how to have a healthy relationship with food that leads to life-long weight loss. I will deconstruct all weight loss myths and show you how to use food as "medicine" to heal from the inside out the natural way. As your personal coach we work together to get to know your "gut" to be able to make better choices and work wonders on your whole body and mind. A simple way to find out what to choose and what to lose. To show you how to feed your body with the nourishing foods Mother Nature has to offer and see how you "let go" of all the "extras" in your life. I help you connect you to your own wisdom, encourage you to listen, be kind, work with, not against your body. Along the way you can expect to:

- set & accomplish your goals in a way that is empowering and exciting
- increase your energy levels /fixed fatigue
- feel great in your body / "high" on life
- learn about new foods and how your can easily incorporate them

How does this work?
You will not be on a "d.i.e.t" but instead will learn how to re-arrange the order to "e.d.i.t" your food choices. It will be a way of eating that you will enjoy that nourishes your "core" as you gradually ween off the toxic foods from your pantry.
1 month consultation $200 per month (2 sessions)
2 sessions over the phone, or in person for one hour long, holding your hand to help you "let go". Includes on going email and text support, nutritious recipes and handouts to increase your nutrition knowledge. Can be extended and/or renewed.
4 or 6 month consultation: $200 per month (2 sessions per month)
Studies have shown that it takes upto 6 months to create a healthy lifestyle and to "let go" of the unhealthy habits. This has the highest success rates where you continue to live your life and BFit & B happy!
Apple Almond Chia Cookies
Alive with enzymes, Omega-3′s, great nutrition and outstanding flavor
Preheat oven at 300 F.
1 cup Almond Flour or Gluten Free Flour
3 cups dried shredded coconut, unsweetened
3/4 cup raw almonds or other nuts, soaked, drain & rinse
1 cup raw sunflower seeds, soaked drain & rinse
1 cup currants or dried blueberries
3/4 cup coconut palm sugar or 1/4 cup Agave (to taste)
2 tablespoons cinnamon powder
2 tablespoons ginger powder
1 teaspoon sea salt
4 apples (any), grated large
2 pear or more apples, grated large
2 cups water
½ cup Chia Seeds
½ cup coconut oil, softened
Pour the Wet Mixture into the Dry Mixture and stir to combine well.
Spread the granola cookie mixture evenly to slightly more than 1/8-inch thick greased cookie sheet. Use cookie cutters of your choice to cut out fun shapes. Bake at 300 F until crunchy and golden (35 min apprx). Let cool & store in air tight container. Enjoy as morning treat or on-the-go.
Almond Chia Pancakes (Wheat-Free)
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Yields: 4 servings
1/2 cup almonds, finely chopped
1 3/4 cups oat
1 cup Chia seeds
1 1/2 cups almond, rice or soymilk
1/4 cup canola oil
1 tablespoon non-aluminum baking powder
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.
2. Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl, then pour into dry ingredients; combine.
3. Cook on lightly oiled skillet until golden brown. Serve warm with maple syrup or honey.
Try substituting 1/2 cup of shredded coconut or 1/4 cup malt-sweetened chocolate chips for almonds.
Add lemon zest, the juice of one lemon (add a little less milk) and 1/2 cup poppy seeds for lemon poppy seed pancakes.
